A guide on how to admit hospitalized patients

  • Refer patients to the hospital
  • Submission of hospitalization order by the attending physician. If he does not have a valid admission letter, the patient will be admitted to the Ankal doctor’s service.
  • Presentation of national card, birth certificate, insurance book and presence of first degree relatives along with identification card
  • Giving information on patient admission and hospitalization as well as hospitalization costs
  • Completion of hospitalization forms and commitments by first degree relatives
  • Taking advance payment from free patients as well as insurance with deductible
  • Providing a medical introduction letter from the contracting party’s insurance for patients with supplementary insurance
  • Refer the patient to the emergency room to file a case
  • Refer the patient to the department after making the necessary coordination with the relevant departments

Necessary documents for admitting the patient

  • Submitting the hospitalization order from the attending physician to the admission unit
  • Presentation of national card, birth certificate and insurance book
  • When accepting children, the presence of a legal guardian along with a birth certificate
  • Presentation of supplementary insurance introduction letter preferably at the time of admission or at last up to 12 hours after the patient’s hospitalization.
  • In emergency cases, if a valid identification card is not presented at the time of admission for the patient, it will be sent up to 12 hours after hospitalization.

Necessary information for patient admission

  • After the bed is allocated and the admission and financial approval process is completed, the patient is transferred to the relevant ward with the patient transporter.
  • It is necessary that the information contained in the admission sheet and the patient’s identification bracelet be checked by the patient or her companion in order to confirm the correctness of the information.
  • Patients are admitted 24 hours a day from 7.30 to 19.30 in the inpatient reception and from 19.30 to 7.30 am in the emergency reception.
  • Accompanying the patient’s bedside is possible if approved by the treating physician and the ward.
  • The amount of money that is collected from the patient after admission is only prepayment and the full amount of expenses including (doctors’ fees and hospital expenses) will be announced by the discharge unit.

Hospital regulations

  • It is forbidden for the patient to have a mobile phone with a camera. Also, avoid giving mobile phones to isolated patients.
  • It is forbidden for the patient to have personal clothes.
  • Cash with the patient is prohibited.
  • If the meeting is free, only the people mentioned in the meeting form with a valid ID card are allowed to meet.
  • Children under 7 years old are not allowed to enter the department.
  • Meeting hours are 15-18.
  • In order to maintain safety, all rooms of this center are equipped with closed-circuit cameras.
